A program of The Steward’s Coalition

A Leader Worth FollowingA Steward’s Journey

An invitation only program that asks one question four ways: where is your heart? Participants work through Scripture, reflection, and trusted conversation. They complete a Charter of the Heart in their own hand, with consequential questions clarified and resourced through trusted connections.

The Four Movements / 01

One question, asked four ways.

  1. 01

    Before God

Where the heart begins, and what it rests upon.

  2. 02

    Who You Influence

The marriage, the children, and the people who carry your name.

  3. 03

    In Your Hands

What has been entrusted, and how openly it is held.

  4. 04

    In What You Leave Behind

What remains alive in a family a hundred years hence.

The Program / 02

A practice that continues at home.

01   Before the program

Prepare

Each participant receives selected readings and a private reflection. This prepares the heart and helps each person name the questions they are carrying.

02   During the program

Walk the four movements

Participants move through Before God, Who You Influence, In Your Hands, and In What You Leave Behind. Scripture, heart stories, and table conversation guide the work.

03   Through each movement

Write the Charter

Each movement leads to a part of the Charter of the Heart. Participants name what they believe, what they will practice, and what they hope to pass on.

04   After the program

Put it into practice

Participants carry their commitments home through personal action, honest family conversation, and the telling of stories that should continue into the next generation.

05   As the work continues

Return to the table

The table gathers again around the same opening question: where is your heart? Those who have completed the program may later help guide others through it.

Participation is by invitation only. Invitations are personal, one to one.
